Science is built of facts the way a house is built of bricks, but an accumulation of facts is no more science than a pile of bricks is a house. – Jules-Henri Poincaré
This statement could also apply to Matters of faith…
Greetings dear reader, as you scan the collection of words on the screen before you, I do hope you find ideas develop into concepts that you are able to take with you and apply to your life, or at least give you something on which you may ponder.
As time goes on I shall add other ideas to support my premise that one cannot see the parts unless he sees the whole. The converse is also true, One cannot see the whole unless he sees the parts (I should add ALL the parts).
This is my inaugural entry into this blog, I am not sure how often I shall make entries, but I shall continue. At times I shall ramble, as I am now, but at other times I will have an agenda I wish to follow. For now it is sufficient to tell you that I am happy to begin this series of thoughts and ideas on the 234 anniversary of our great country.
As the ideas presented to you accumulate, I pray a philosophy, My philosophy of life takes shape so that you may better understand me and, in some sense, yourself and the world in which we live.
Happy Birthday America!
